The classic phone Nokia 3310 is back after HMD Global announced its re-launched earlier of this year. Although the new appearance of the device has not yet revealed to the public, there were already speculations about its newest features and specification this 2017.
On September 1, 2000, the Nokia 3310 was launched. It was sold worldwide with 126 million devices, because of this, it is one of the successful mobile phones from Nokia. The device is also known for its durability and it cannot be destroyed easily.
The Nokia 3310 has also long lasting battery life because of fewer application. Some say that the battery life can exceed 24 hours. But then, the Nokia 3310 has gone to the famous line of phones when Android and iOS were born.
Now, as MCW is approaching, VTech also confirmed that the latest version of Nokia 3310 will be re-launched at the said event. The device will remain as a "feature machine," which means the appearance still looks the same but it is lighter and slim. The classic keypad will also be the same, it is not the QWERTY type from the usual smartphones, although the size of the keypad has been adjusted so it can be pressed easily.
The Nokia 3310 will also have a different type of colors like red, yellow, and green to make it look more stylish. The screen size of the device is larger than the usual and will be upgraded from black and white screen into a colored screen.
And of course, the Nokia 3310 also has its famous game like the Snake. Though there are already similar games that can be downloaded from Play Store, the pre-installed Snake from Nokia 3310 is still different. It is classic because of its black and white screen and pressing a specific key to controlling the movement of the snake.
Nokia 3310 is one of the cheapest mobile devices, the expected price will probably be €59. Consumers can also avail the Nokia 3310 from Amazon, however, the device did not directly came from the company, as reported by Independent.
