Samsung Galaxy S8 specs, price, and release date has been highly sought online by customers. Samsung's upcoming smartphone is expected attract a vast number of consumers when it is released.
After experiencing a significant loss in 2016 caused by the Galaxy Note 7 debacle, Samsung has vowed to regain the trust of its customers through its latest offering this year. The Galaxy S8 has been viewed as the redeeming grace for the company with its captivating improvements and new features.
During the Mobile World Congress, the Korean-based electronics company teased the audience about the possible look of the upcoming Samsung S8 smartphone. After the official video teaser, another video emerged online displaying more features of the device. Along with the unofficial video was an image render shared by reliable leaker Evan Blass, which showcased the front of the phone in full, according to CNET
Based on the latest leaks, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 has thin bezels and a long, narrow body. If not for its curved screen and a tab on the right side, it may well be similar to the previously released bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix. Moreover, the changes made with the positioning of its power/lock button somehow suggests the inclusion of Samsung's AI assistant, the Bixby.
The latest leaked image strongly hints that the design of Galaxy Edge will be extended to succeeding product lines, like the S8. As seen on the leaked Samsung S8 image, the display screen has been overly extended on both sides, allowing easier access to shortcuts and other software features, according to The Next Web.
As of the current writing, the launch date of Samsung Galaxy S8 is set on March 29. There are also speculations that it could arrive on April 21. Together with the release date rumors, it has also been projected that the upcoming device will be within an $800 price point.
