Xiaomi's latest smartphone release, the Redmi Note 4 is now up for sale in Malaysia after a long time of waiting. Pre-orders for the smartphone will officially start on March 10 on Online Mi Store at Lazada and retail outlets nationwide. The actual open sale will begin on March 16.
This comes with almost eight months after the phone's official release in its company's home place, China. Previously, the company only sells their phones through online-only sale on its official website. But now, Xiaomi is very well open in making their devices more widely available compared before, including online and retail channels nationwide.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display which has been given a beautiful improvement with a little curved 2.5D glass on the two sides of the screen. Malaysian users will be getting a more powerful processor which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2.0GHz that incorporates 14nm FinFET technology compared to China's Mediatek Helio X20 processor. Along with the processor includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
The camera of the Redmi Note 4 comes with a 13MP BSI CMOS camera with phase detection auto-focus and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone will have a 4100mAh battery with optimization that gives 25 percent longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
The charging was also great, it would only take an hour to charge from 0-100. The average daily use of the phone gave a 20-hour back-up on a full charge. Furthermore, it features a rear fingerprint sensor to ensure more protection.
Overall, the Redmi Note 4 is a good deal given its high-end specifications it offers to consumers. The smartphone will be priced at around RM 799. The company though has yet to reveal the different color options of the smartphone.
