Xiaomi's sub-brand, MiJia has unleashed a new smart-wear called 90 Minutes Ultra Smart running shoes. Here is all the information available on its specifications, features, pricing and availability.
The Ultra Smart running shoes comes with a small-sized Intel Curie chip fitted inside. The size of the chip is similar to the size of the button. Its presence in the shoes allows it to record real time fitness data, Gizmo China reported.
The smart shoes are manufactured with a design that can suit professional athletes. The Intel Curie chip can track fitness activities like running, walking and climbing and it can also record data for distance covered, speed, calories burnt and more. Even though it is a smart-wear equipped with a chipset and other features, it appears like a regular sports shoes from outside.
The sports footwear is built by the Chinese firm, Shanghai Runmi Technology Co. Ltd. There is a foam-like material that it gives enough comfort to the foot while running. It features an antibacterial insole that can be replaced easily. It is also equipped with various features like anti-skid and air cushion. The sole of the shoes comes with arch balance sheet.
On a single charge, the 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sports Shoes can be used for 60 days. It comes in color choices of Surf Blue and Black for male and for female users, it comes in Pink. A special version of the shoes flanked with luminous material that makes the wearer visible to motorist while using at night.
The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sports Shoes is priced at 299 Yuan ($43). According to Tech PP, its pre-orders have started and its shipping will begin on April 15. As of this writing, there is no confirmation on when will it be available outside of China.
