The great thing about the Moto G5 handsets is they actually run on Android 7.0 Nougat. The company is known for making their handset's Android version up to date as early as possible. Reports suggest that the company is preparing the recently launched handsets for the upcoming Android 8.0. However, the said reports are yet to be confirmed.
Specifications and Features
The Moto G5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor while the Moto G5 Plus goes for a Snapdragon 625 processor. The two smartphones will be having the same RAM that ranges from 2GB and 4GB. The two will also have a 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB through a microSD card. The Moto G5 will be having a 2800mAh battery while the other will have a 3000mAh battery.
Another distinction between the Moto G5 and its predecessors is the 5.2 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The latest handsets are also equipped with a fingerprint scanner for screen navigation and security, according to India Today.
The physical attributes of the handsets are allegedly the same as to recent smartphone releases by the Moto Z family. The smartphones will have a metal finish and aluminum backplate which gives its premium look. The handsets will be having lunar gray and fine gold as its color ways.
