Lenovo will debut the recently introduced Moto G5 Plus smartphone on March 15 in India. It will be sold exclusively on the e-commerce platform Flipkart instead of Amazon, unlike the previously released Moto G series. It also marks the return of Moto G line to the platform after Amazon released the Moto G4 series.

The Moto G5 Plus was unveiled about a week ago at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain, together with the Moto G5 smartphone, which is priced at $218.34 (around Rs. 14,584 or € 199). It is available in a few different variants, namely, 2, 3, and 4GB for RAM as well as 32 and 64GB for internal storage. The storage can be further extended up to a maximum of 128GB.

The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch full high-definition display and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. It is equipped with a front-mounted fingerprint reader and USB Type-C port. It is also packed with a decent 3000 mAh battery.

The Moto G5 Plus runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the customized user interface laid on top. It is integrated with Moto Display and Moto Actions from Motorola's software. It also has the Google Assistant feature, which was previously announced in Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones exclusively.

The Moto G5 Plus features a 12-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/1.7, phase detection autofocus, a dual LED flash, and 1.4µm pixels. It is accompanied with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies. It supports microSD card as well and is capable of recording 4K videos.

There is still no information as to which variant of the Moto G5 Plus will be released in India and the price details. To get notified, Flipkart comes with a Notify Me tab to allow users register via e-mail address when the upcoming device becomes available for purchase.
