"Destiny 2" release date has been confirmed for this year. Although lacking of the precise date, it has been reported that the game is due for release autumn in 2017.
The first Destiny game was released in 2014, and since then PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 players have enjoyed the game. However, there has an increasing demand for a game sequel, which led game developer Bungie to announce the coming of "Destiny 2" this year.
The first game was released in September 2014 that went along with the pre-Christmas rush. That being said, "Destiny 2" release date would most probably be within the same timeframe, according to PC Advisor. Gamers may expect the game before December, complementing the confirmed autumn release date.
The details of the game remain sketchy up to now. However, game publisher Activision managed to give some hint on the significant feature that the game may have. According to Activision, players could expect a cast of memorable and relatable characters.
Community manager David "DeeJ" Dague explained that the upcoming features of the game sequel aim to preserve the relationship with one's game character. This type of bond will be kept in the transition from the game prequel down to its sequel.
"What we talked about was a relationship with one's character. These are all emotional pieces of context that I have assigned to my character and those are all things that will be relevant in all future versions of Destiny. While I may have my own favorite Exotic weapons, that story has changed a great deal over the course of the past three years, Deej told IGN.
Moreover, character relationship aside, gamers should also expect great cinematic storyline for "Destiny 2." Aside from that, the game sequel might also include a PC release as most rumors would suggest. Thus, expanding the options for gamers as they venture into mythic science fiction world of "Destiny".
