Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 devices are taking the spotlight from the recently launched Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 Android smartphones, including the Nokia 3310 retro phone. The two upcoming Nokia phones would reportedly be HMD Global's high-end flagship smartphones.
The previous Nokia releases are considered as low-end mobile phones as compared to Apple's iPhone and Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S and Note series. For that matter, there are talks that upcoming Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 mobile devices will top the company's previous releases.
As of the current writing, tests are reportedly being performed on the upcoming Nokia phones. The upcoming smartphones are expected to have metal unibody and much smaller bezels than the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3, according to Tech Radar.
If HMD Global aims to release a high-end flagship device, the latest high-end Snapdragon 835 will be favored than that of the mid-range Snapdragon 660 chipset.
Although some of its specs are yet to be revealed, it is believed that Nokia's flagship product will come with super-detailed QHD display, according to Express. Both devices will include fast battery charging capability, possible Carl Zeiss optics for the camera, and a rear finger print scanner.
There has been no confirmation of the price and release date of these phones. But given the suggested powerful mobile processor, the Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 will come with a hefty price tag.
