"Gears of War 4" may have long been released in the market. However, reviews and comparison about the game seemed to be never ending, including that one of Cliff Bleszinski, game's co-creator.
One of the reviews that "GoW 4" received was directed to the "Gears of War 4" gameplay itself. Some experts and enthusiasts think that Microsoft's game should have a distinct presentation than that of the usual shooter campaign games available in the market. Original game designer, Cliff Bleszinski or CliffyB shared similar sentiments to that of his game's fourth sequel.

"What [Gears of War developer The Coalition boss Rod Fergusson] did was give the people what that want. He did the J.J. Abrams Episode VII. I've watched Episode VII five times. I still get misty-eyed and get all excited but when I think objectively about it, I'm like, 'There wasn't a lot of risk there.' So I'm hoping they take a little bit more risk in the future," PC gamers quoted Bleszinski as saying.
"GoW 4" was the first game sequel that the game creator did not work on. Despite not having CliffyB in the lineup, Microsoft Studios video game generally received a positive response. It even gained a 7/10 review by GameSpot.
As of the current writing, there is still no announcement for an upcoming "Gears of War" sequel. However, a non-shooter "GoW" game could happen. Thus, suggesting a deviation from the usual first person shooter game, possibly venturing into multiple gameplay genres.
As for Cliff Bleszinski, he is still busy working with "LawBreakers," especially that it is getting closer to beta testing. He also expressed an interest working with projects like "the character-based, first-person shooter for the Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield crowd."
As a refresher, "Gears of War 4" is the fourth main installment in the "Gears of War" series, which was first developed by Epic Games before Microsoft Studios and The Coalition took over.
