New "Star Wars Battlefront" updates will feature private matches and the Tattooine Survival mode in this month's DLC and new game maps added for the game soon.
Electronic and DICE announced several new contents for "Star Wars Battlefront" this year and it will feature new game mode, map, weapons and improvements within the game. Several reports claimed that the January DLC will not contain a new map for "Star Wars Battlefront, however DICE confirmed that "The Tattooine Survival" map will be included in number of game modes such as "The Blast", "Droid Run", "Drop Zone", "Heroes vs Villains" and new feature called "Raider Camp"
The long rumored Private Matches will also be included in the game's upcoming updates and new Hoth themed costumes for "Star Wars" characters Luke Skywalker and Han Solo have been added. The costumes were unlocked in the Heroes' Holiday community mission last month.
The January DLC will also have upcoming Daily Challenges and Community Events, which is design to give gamers a challenge to earn credits and unlock more items by completing a series of challenges, plus overall balances and tweaks on weapons and multiplayer modes, VG 24/7 reported.
EA added that the February update will contain more free DLCs such as Survival mode in Hoth and a new map support for larger game modes such as "Fighter Squadron", "Walker Assault", "Supremacy" and "Turning Point".
"Turning Point" will be available in all maps once the February update is finished and a new multiplayer map for Endor will implemented in "Walker Assault", "Supremacy" and "Turning Point" as well.
But what makes EA's announcement more intriguing to the "Star Wars" and gaming fans is the announcement of new maps for "Star Wars Battlefront" which will feature familiar settings like the Death Star, Bespin and the Outer Rim.
The Outer Rim map will feature players fighting in factories in Sullust and in Jabba the Hutt's palace as the map will be available on March. The Bespin map will be around in the summer, while the Death Star will be unlocked in the fall. EA also teased a new Expansion Pack 4 for "Star Wars Battlefront" and will reveal more information about it very soon, Gamerant reported.
"Star Wars Battlefront" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC.
