Apple and Xiaomi are expected to both enter fierce battle with each other as they are rumored to respectively launch iPad Pro 2 and Mi Pad 3 tablets soon.
Apple is rumored to be announce new tablets in this month. The Cupertino company is expected to unleash the iPad Pro in multiple screen size options such as 12.9-inch, 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch and 7.9-inch. To rival the new Apple tablets, Xiaomi is speculated to release Mi Pad 3 and MI Pad 3 Pro in this month, Gizmo China reported.
The rumor mill has revealed some of the key specs of both the new tablets from Xiaomi. According to the rumor mill, the Mi Pad 3 will be Android 7.0 Nougat tablet that would be featuring a 7.9-inch display.
There is no information available on its screen and the processor that will be powering it, but new information suggest that it would be featuring 4 GB of RAM. Its 64 GB and 128 GB storage models are rumored to be pricing around 1,299 Yuan ($188) and 1,599 Yuan ($231), respectively.
The other variant that is dubbed as Mi Pad Pro 3 by the rumor mill claims that it would be coming with a larger display of 9.7 inches. This tablet is speculated to be running on Windows 10 OS and it will be fueled by Intel 8750 chipset. It is expected to cost 1,699 ($246) at launch. There are no details available on the battery capacities of both Xiaomi tablets.
Although the rumor mill is claiming that Apple will be launching four tablets, some rumors hint that instead of 9.7-inch tablet, it would be releasing a new 10.5-inch tablet with slimmer bezels in the same form factor as the 9.7-inch variant. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 as well as the new 10.5-inch tablet are expected to be powered by A10XSoC.
The 7.9-inch tablet is expected to launch as iPad Pro Mini. All the upcoming tablets from Apple are expected to arrive in storage options like 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB along with color options such as Space Gray, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver, Playful Droid reported.
