LG has been making waves at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016 as it brings a full lineup of smartphones, smart TVs and an enviable laptop to the table.
Its newest laptop is set to go head-to-head against the Macbook Air's weight and emerge as the winner. The LG Gram 15 is set to be very thin at 0.6 inches, with only 2.16lbs to its weight. Interestingly, its weight also includes the fact that it's a 15.6-inch laptop, much bigger than the 11-inch Macbook Air to boot.
Its overall design features a champagne-colored body with black keys, a bigger version that the older Gram 13 and an ultimate travel companion due to its lightweight feature, Laptop Mag reported. While the specs are simple enough considering its placing in the market, the LG Gram 15 does boast a magnesium body, the Intel i5 or i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, one's choice of 256GB or 512GB SSD.
Apart from the Gram 15, LG has also revealed a new line of smartphones, dubbed as the K series. The successor to the L Series, the K series is revealed to go for the more premium tier, being the first to bring in the glossy pebble design language, as per LG's official press release.
The K Series goes for a seamless, no-button design made possible by the 2.5D Arc Glass. More than the design, the features of the K series also bring a lot of multimedia features for active users, with a lot of room for photography outdoors or easier selfie shots.
Not to be left behind by other tech companies, LG has also introduced two TVs at CES 2016. Its contender in the 4K TV division are four OLED 4K HDR TVs, namely the G6, E6, C6 and the B6 models. Spanning anywhere between 65 to 77 inches, the 4K TVs showcase 10-bit color and processing, Dolby Vision HDR and a glass body. Despite the size of the screen and the weighty features, LG's OLED 4K TVs feature a stunningly thin body of only 2.57 millimeters.
This is not the only amazing TV that LG has showcased on the CES 2016 floor. It has also unveiled its rollable 18-inch OLED TV.
