The Pokemon Go Gen 2 update came with several changes including the egg hatching rate. The game has always featured egg hatching where players can get eggs from PokeStops and put them in the incubator, walk and eventually hatch them.

Various eggs need different walking distances to hatch and the easiest requires a 2 KM walk. The easiest eggs to hatch do not yield rare treasures, though.

After the Pokemon Go Gen 2 update, a Reddit user created a chart to map out probabilities and determine how easy or hard it is to hatch an egg. It is a guide for egg hatch rarity to help trainers know what to expect from 2 KM, 5 KM and 10 KM eggs. The 2 KM eggs can hatch Remoraid with a 1.74 percent chance and Misdreavus with a 0.87 percent chance.

Meanwhile, the 5 KM eggs can also yield Yanma, Wobbuffet, Girafarig, Sneasel, Dunsparce and Shuckle. All of them have a 0.62 percent chance of hatching. Finally, the 10 KM eggs can hatch Miltank and Skarmory with a 2.57 percent chance but players have a bigger 5.13 percent chance of getting Mareep and Sudowoodo from it.

According to the chart, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, along with 13 other Pokemon from the Johto region cannot be hatched. Several Gen 1 Pokemon which used to be hatchable cannot be hatched after the update as well. Magikarp is an example of this.

The new Pokemon Go Gen 2 update brings a lot of new features to the game, including new UI changes, additional avatar customization options, more than 80 Johto Pokemon of Gen 2 and berries. There is still no details on the much-awaited trading features, though, but it is still considered as a massive update to the augmented-reality mobile game.

According to reports, the Pokemon Go update comes with evolution items including Metal Coat, Dragon Scale, King's Rock, Sun Stone, and Up-Grade. The new berries are Pinap and Nanab. Nanab can slow a Pokemon movement and make it easier to catch whereas Pinap doubles the candy amount you get from catching a Pokemon.

All special items are available at Pokestops but the drop rate for the evolution items seems to be low compared to the drop rate for new berries. Those who regularly visit Pokestops and have not received any special items should not despair because evolution items appear uncommon.

One trainer said he visited 20 Pokestops and did not get even one evolution item while another one said he got 10 new berries but no evolution item when he spun 50 Pokestops. There are luckier ones as well, though.

Meanwhile, several users have also found Special Items at the same time of the day for a couple of days in a row. The players should spin a PokeStop at the same time of the day which means the time for collecting Special Items or Evolutionary Items is the same for every player.

A player may select a random time on his first time to get a Special Item but some players still have not attained an Evolutionary Item. It could be that the time is pre-selected for every player. The items were found after around a minute from different PokeStops.

Other reports said that Pokemon Go will have some major changes on Trading and Gym Battles. Trading is very important in Pokemon Go and some changes are needed. Niantic Lab said that the changes will come through Proximity.

It also explained that an update is in the works, possibly breaking trading options. Fans will likely see a more dilute version of features soon and after these are fixed, the game is expected to come with other augmentations to Gym Battling and PvP choices.
