The latest details for "Injustice 2" will feature Scarecrow coming to the roster and the PC version release date to happen after console launch.
It seems that next character to debut next in "Injustice 2" could be popular Batman villain Scarecrow as the IMDB listing revealed that Scarecrow will be in the game and he will be voiced by "A Nightmare on Elm Street" actor Robert Englund.
While NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive have yet to confirm this, Scarecrow already debuted in "Injustice 2's" mobile version alongside DC characters The Flash, Green Lantern and Cyborg. All three characters already made their console debuts in the sequel's "Shattered Alliances" cinematic trailers and it will not be long if Scarecrow will make it in the game whether in another movie or his own gameplay trailer, PlayStation Universe reported.
NetherRealm Studios previously release part 3 of the "Shattered Alliances" cinematic trailer, which focused on Supergirl's side of the story and also marks the return of Black Adam in "Injustice 2's" roster. Joining him are other new and returning characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Firestorm, Robin, Swamp Thing, Doctor Fate, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Cheetah, Captain Cold, Bane, Braniac and Darkseid.
In other news, it seems that PC users will have to wait for "Injustice 2" in the PC platform soon as game producer Ed Boon stated that they will launch the PC version in a later date, WCCFTech reported.
Boon confirmed that "Injustice 2" will indeed come to the PC version, but it will likely announce a release date of it after the sequel launches in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on May.
The "Mortal Kombat" creator added that "Injustice 2" will have a longer and more epic storyline than the previous title as the plot will have Batman and insurgency face the return of Superman's regime, while more powerful threats are coming to earth in the form of Braniac and the Secret Society.
The sequel will introduce the new gear system, which amplifies and upgrades each character's skills, appearances and in-game stats, as well as new currency system called the Source Crystals.
"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
