The latest details for "Grand Theft Auto 5" will feature a beta test for the Liberty City mod and Vice City mod next in the game.
It seems that new updates for the Liberty City mod in "Grand Theft Auto 5" have been revealed as the OpenIV modding group provided some details in its development and are planning a beta test in the spring, Gamerant reported.
Aside from the beta test announcement, the modding group also offered several screenshots of the Liberty City mod in "Grand Theft Auto 5" as the photos featured city based on the "Grand Theft Auto 4" game. This is a massive effort within "Grand Theft Auto" mod groups, along with past accomplishments including porting "Grand Theft Auto 3" into "Vice City," and "San Andreas" into GTA 4."
The Liberty City mod will be the first big accomplishment for OpenIV mod groups and the engine used in making the mod possible.
With that in mind, will there be a Vice City mod for "Grand Theft Auto 5" in the works very soon?
YouTube channel Crotainment Games created a gameplay video, which featured a complete HD remastered version of the city that is found in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," WCCFTech reported.
While this is just a HD remastered of the original "GTA: Vice City" many gamers are considering seeing the city itself within "Grand Theft Auto 5" similar to as to how Liberty City was added in the sequel.
Vice City is based on Miami and it appeared in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories", and also heavily rumored to be a setting in "Grand Theft Auto 6."
Gamers will surely look forward for a Vice City mod in "Grand Theft Auto 5" soon whether it is being developed by OpenIV group or another modding group in the future.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
