'WWE 2K16' Update: AJ Styles Not Added To The Roster; 'Future Stars Pack' Corrupts Player Save Files, 'Hall Of Fame Showcase' To Launch Soon!

New details for "WWE 2K16" will feature AJ Styles not added to the roster, save files corrupted by the "Future Stars Pack" and "Hall of Fame Showcase" coming soon.

Several rumors are making rounds that WWE's latest acquisition former TNA World Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles will be included in "WWE 2K16's" roster. Styles made his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble pay-per-view as he drew number 3 and faced Roman Reigns in the Royal Rumble match for WWE World Heavyweight title.

Styles suprised entry into the Royal Rumble match has met an unexpected results as his arrival sparked the possibility that he will be included in "WW 2K16" as future DLC wrestler. However, gaming fans will not be getting their wish as the official "WWE 2K" Twitter page tweeted that AJ Styles will not be added into "WWE 2K16's" roster as all of the DLCs have already been locked, but teased that their might something going on soon.

The tweet could indicate that 2K Sports could be planning something for AJ Styles soon, either in "WWE 2K16" or the next instalment of the "WWE 2K17", Gamespot reported.

In other news, the latest DLC update for "WWE 2K16" called the "Future Stars Pack" has met with several in-game problems for players who have purchased and downloaded it.

The "Future Stars Pack" will feature five new WWE Superstars within the game's roster such as Diego and Fernando of Los Matadores, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy and the "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe.

Apparentely several gamers complained about the DLC for corrupting their in-game save files in Universe Mode in "WWE 2K16", thus resetting months of progress.

2K Games told gamers in the forums not to download the "Future Stars Pack" in their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles until they have resolved the issue within the DLC, Digital Spy reported.

The next DLC for "WWE 2K16" will be the "Hall of Fame Showcase" and it will feature several Hall of Fame worthy matches such as Randy Savage vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts, The Rock vs Rikishi, Alundra Blayze vs Paige, Arn Anderson vs Larry Zbyszko, Ric Flair vs Tatsumi Fujinami, The Bushwakers vs The Natural Disasters and Harlem Heat vs The Outsiders. The "Hall of Fame Showcase" DLC will cost around $4.99.

"WWE 2K16" will release on Oct. 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
