The rumor mill has been silent on the HTC One M10 flagship smartphone of this year. However, its key specs have surfaced now.
The HTC One M10 is codenamed as HTC Perfume. Rumors are rife that the smartphone will come with an attractive design. Evan Blass, the popular tipster, has revealed the specifications of the HTC One M10 smartphone.
In the past, HTC has released smartphones like HTC One M7, One M8 and One M9 with full HD resolution displays. However, the One M10 will be coming with a 5.1-inch display that will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, Venture Beat reported.
The HTC One M10 will be fueled by Snapdragon 820 chipset that will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM. Other speculations suggest that the Taiwanese tech giant may release another variant of HTC Perfume for Asian audience. Rumors indicate that it will be powered by MediaTek Helio X20 chipset.
The native storage of the device will be of 32 GB out of which 23 GB will be available for user to store data. It will also carry support for microSD expansion storage.
HTC One M10 will be featuring a 12 MP UltraPixel camera. It will be equipped with features such as laser autofocus and OIS (optical image stabilization). An interesting thing to note is that the front-facing camera will be also equipped with OIS feature.
The dual front-facing speakers that are available on the predecessor One series smartphones from HTC will not be available on the HTC One M10. A fingerprint scanner will be present below the display of the device.
It will arrive preinstalled with the most recent Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update and its appeal will be modified by the HTC Sense 8 UI. As far as the appearance of the device is concerned, rumors hint that it will be resembling the HTC One A9.
Hence, the One M10 is expected to features slimmer full-metallic chassis with rounded edges. It may come equipped with water and dust resistant capabilities, GSM Arena reported.
As previously speculated, the HTC One M10 will not be unleashed during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event. The Taiwanese tech giant is expected to hold an exclusive launch at the end of February or March.
