Pokemon Go players will reportedly have an increased chance to hatch rare creatures from eggs and will have double XP.

According to Reddit user HiddenLeaker, there will be a Pokemon Go Easter double XP event starting April 13. There are reports that the Easter event which will begin on April 13 would be a double XP event.

Moreover, the event will reportedly have something to do with two-kilometers eggs. The event will last for one week, PokemonGoHub reported. There will be increased hatch rates for rare Pokemon such as Miltank, Porygon, Lapras, and Snorlax.

At present, it is not known whether any of these creatures may hatch in different eggs than normal. There are rumors that rare creatures may hatch from two-kilometers eggs temporarily during the Easter event.

If the information about rare creatures hatching from eggs is true, this will apply to eggs that are received after the event starts, as what is in the eggs in the game is determined as soon as Pokemon Go players pick them up.

Meanwhile, a new study suggests that individuals who play the hit mobile game are more likely to be positive, friendly, and upbeat.

Pokemon Go gamers are more likely to be friendly and cheerful than their non-Pokemon Go-playing counterparts. Scientists began studying the effects of Pokemon Go on people not long after its release in July last year. They surveyed about 400 individuals three weeks in, 40 percent of whom were playing the hit game.

Those gamers were more likely to be exercising and experiencing positive emotions, strengthening existing friendships, and making new friends.
