The soon-to-be-released Spring update for "Battlefield 1" will introduce a host of new features including in-game improvements and tweaks to operation. EA and DICE have made the big announcement amidst the frenzy surrounding the trailer for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" leaked ahead of its debut at Star Wars Celebration this weekend.
"Battlefield 1" will be getting lots of love that EA has outlined via the game's official page. It includes a set spring updates, monthly support and future expansion packs.
As per Game Producers Aleksander Grøndal and Andrew Gulotta, playing "Battlefield 1" can't get more excting for all the game fans out there. They said that they are please with the fans' overwhelming response to They Shall Not Pass DLC and it's only the beginning of more exciting experiences in the game.
Sping Update
Grondal and Gulotta mentioned about a new tempo that will allow them to release what the fans want in the game, the fastest way possible. First in the line is the Spring update coming soon to "Battlefield 1". This update will add Platoons, which will enable players to team up with friends to win the battle as a unit.
In-Game Improvements and Tweaks to Operations
The latest announcement further revealed about in-game improvements and tweaks to Operations. The studio will be directing its efforts to some changes coming in the May Update that will better the overall quality of experience in playing the game.
In the Name of Tsar DLC
The game producers have not also missed out on giving an update for the next DLC of "Battlefield 1" named In the Name of Tsar, Screen Rant reported. The upcoming expansion will transport players to the World War I era Russian winter and fight side by side with the Russians, ultimately acquiring more knowledge on tactics when it launches in the game.
It is expcted that more details on In the Name of Tsar DLC for "Battlefield 1" will be revealed at EA Play. The three-day EA-centric event is set to kick off on June 10 and conclude on June 12.
