The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports incredible hardware and killer features at a pocket-friendly price.
Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi 6 smartphone in China with dual-cameras and 6GB RAM.
The device sports a glass body and comes with a screen of 5.15 inches. The 3.5mm headphone jack has been ditched for USB Type-C ports.
Xiaomi incorporated stereo speakers in the Mi 6 and the basic variant of the smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM.
However, it is not water and dust-resistant. Furthermore, the Xiaomi device has a 5.15-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. On the top, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen protection.
The Xiaomi device is powered by the Adreno 540 GPU and 10nm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, The Verge reported. The Mi 6 smartphone comes in 128GB and 64GB storage variants.
The phone comes with the Android 7.0 N operating system out-of-the-box and has a 3,350 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0. Also, the Xiaomi Mi 6 has other sensors, such as a compass, proximity, gyro, and accelerometer. The device's connectivity options include USB Type-C, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Mi 6 comes with a dual-camera setup and has a 12-megapixel sensor with standard wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens. There is dual-tone LED flash and a PDAF for the back camera and also 4-axis OIS is present.
The Xiaomi smartphone has an 8-megapixel front camera. The 64GB variant of the device costs about $360, and the 128 GB variant costs $420, according to Engadget. The smartphone from the Chinese company is half the price of iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S8. The Xiaomi device is available in gold and blue color options.
Some of the features of iPhone 7 Plus include a 5.5-inch touchscreen display, 2,900 mAh non-removable battery, 7 MP front shooter, 12 MP primary camera, and 32 GB of internal storage.
