Ubisoft has rolled out Update 2.1.3 for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" bringing new changes on its operators and fixing several bugs. The game publisher also promised to be working on a fix for Hibana's gadget issues.
One of the most notable issues in Update 2.1.3 for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" is Glaz's scope This was changed in Velvet Shell Mid-Season update where the blood splatter visual effects were not really working properly.
With the latest update, Glaz's scope makes it now easier to know when a shot lands or misses. As a result, players of "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" will now be able to see clearer when a hit lands on the target and when it misses.
Echo's Yokai Drone has also received a boost, giving a disorienting effect on the enemies if it hits any part of a body. Its sonic burst also now registers all body parts that will trigger the disorientation effect on the adversar.
Ubisoft admits that it is really hard to hit the head, especially for players on consoles. So, they are giving players on Echo character more room to trigger the effect.
Players of Montagne however, may be disappointed with the latest update for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege". The developer increased his hip-fire spread while using the LFP586 particularly at medium and long-range encounters.
The reason for it is that, according to Ubisoft, it appeared that Montagne, when paired with the LFP586 + laser sight, was overall too strong. As a result, Montagne will not be able to quickly kill his enemy without exposing himself anymore.
Moreover, the developer also promised to fans that they are working on a fix for Hibana's gadget, which does not detonate randomly for a long time. That fix did not come in this update since it is rather a difficult task.
The Update 2.1.3 for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" has also brought a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. Fans can view the full details at Ubisoft's official page.
Data miners, meanwhile, recently claimed that Hong Kong Expansion is on its way to the game next month. It will be adding new set of weapons and operators based in Hong Kong, hence the name of the leaked DLC for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege".
