There are claims abounding that the upcoming Surface Pro is set to kill off its competitors with its specs and features. Rumors have surfaced that the tech integrated on Microsoft's flagship device could outpace Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, Lenovo Miix 700 and the HP Spectre x2.
Despite the claims that are surfacing for Surface Pro, it remains unsettled. As for the specs and features, the device is rumored to integrate the latest tech. Microsoft has launched the second round of firmware updates for its Surface Book and Surface Pro 4, and there's a load of new features and upgrades for the devices and the release notes on the Surface Update History page reveal new additions, including fixes for video playback along with Cortana speech recognition updates.
All the new additions improve the reliability, compatibility, and performance of the two machines, and are available now and first up, the Surface Book, Microsoft's top-notch hybrid device, is gaining Realtek High Definition Audio updates which will improve the Cortana speech recognition, reports the same post.
A separate report revealed the two updates which pep up offline video playback - but not the Realtek update for Cortana. Before you get disappointed on the latter score, though, the SP4 hasn't been missed out here, because it actually received this Cortana boost at the end of last year.
As for the rumors regarding Surface Pro and its competitors such as with Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, Lenovo Miix 700 and HP Spectre x2, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
