The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature the latest patch update and a collaboration event with "Terra Battle" mobile game.
Square Enix launched the patch update 1.09 for "Final Fantasy XV" with a download file size of 4.65GB in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The update will feature a Steady Mode on PlayStation 4 Pro, which enables the player to enjoy a smooth gameplay experience with a stable frame-rate.
Gamers can expect "Final Fantasy XV" to have 1080p visuals and a near locked 30 frames-per-second when in Steady Mode. The update will also have "Timed Quest Ranking" system, which lets gamers have the opportunity to earn extravagant weapons upon completing these quests.
Subtitle texts can now be enlarged in the new "Final Fantasy XV" patch update, as well as new stickers for the Regalia and new songs for the sequel in the music player. There is also a new weapon called the "Afrosword" inspired by the Grammy Award winning DJ and Producer Afrojack, which deals with extra damage and play background songs from him, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
In other news, a collaboration event between "Final Fantasy XV" and the mobile game "Terra Battle" has been announced this week.
The "Final Fantasy XV/Terra Battle" collaboration brings three special quests featuring Noctis's friends Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompt. It will also feature a new composition by Nobuo Uematsu called “Bond."
The event will also feature familiar enemies from the "Final Fantasy" series such as Behemoth and Titan. Clearing the quest will get players a chance to play as an S-class Noctis with three varieties sword, spear, and bow weapons, along with three of his outfits from "FFXV."
Previous reports teased that Square Enix could port "Final Fantasy XV" to the PC platform as the Japanese publisher showcased the sequel in the Nvidia's new GTZ 1080 Ti.
The demo showed "Final Fantasy XV" characters running through fields of grass, showing off Nvidia’s TurfEffects, as well as fluid and fur dynamics. Tabata stated that the PC demo is the current status of their game engine, Luminous Studio Pro, which is made possible by this collaboration with Gameworks.
When Tabata was asked directly if "Final Fantasy XV" will be coming to the PC platform, the latter just said "no comment" and explained that its a "tech test" with a teasing smile.
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
