The latest updates for "Tekken 7" will feature VR gameplay and improved graphic quality on the PlayStation 4 Pro version.
Game director Katsuhiro Harada revealed some interesting features for "Tekken 7" in the updates consoles as he stated in an interview that there will be some noticeable changes in terms of graphics and encourage PlayStation users to go for it in the PS4 Pro.
While, Harada did not make any specific remarks for the Xbox Scorpio due to limited information, it seems that Xbox users will also have the same treatment as the PS4 Pro version when Microsoft reveal more information regarding the console, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Meanwhile, it seems that gameplay video for "Tekken 7" in VR form has been streamed online. YouTube username Shirrako uploaded a gameplay of the sequel and as seen in the video gamers will not have the first-person view of the virtual reality content, but rather a traditional third-person gameplay has been brought into the headset.
While it is good to see "Tekken 7's" traditional gameplay elements works on the VR, gamers are still not sure as to what extent will it be supported. Will PS VR owners simply have access to the training mode? Or will the game’s suite of solo and multiplayer options also be playable in the headset, UploadVR reported.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will have better luck explaining more details on "Tekken 7's" VR feature in the futute updates as its release date draws near.
Previous reports teased that "Tekken 7" will have a cinematice story mode featuring several events from the past leading to the present story in the "Tekken" franchise.
Thers is also a small gunplay action in "Tekken 7's" story mode, as well as quick time gameplay. In addition, the sequel will also have online tournaments, tons of customization items and many more.
Sadly, Roger Jr. will not be added to "Tekken 7's" roster due to some controversy with animal activists and the possible guest characters include Geese Howard, Dante, Kazuma Kiryu, Master Chief, Sub-Zero and Kerrigan.
"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
