However, developer Insomniac Games was quick to clarify that the game does not have a release date yet. While the game does not have any release date yet, but Insomniac Games did not say that it won’t launch in 2017, SegmentNext reported.
Meanwhile, gaming fans are wondering as who are the rest of Spider-Man's famous cast will be added in the latest game.
aming fans have made their voices heard by stating some top ten characters they wanted to see in the new "Spider-Man" video game title and these include the likes of Kingpin, Shocker, Rhino, Mysterio, The Vulture, Electro, Sandman, Doctor Octopus, Venom and Green Goblin, WhatCulture reported.
As of now, Mister Negative is the only villain hinted in the new "Spider-Man" game due to the distinct mask the criminals wear during the game's first trailer last year.
There is also a debunked rumor about the plot of the "Spider-Man" game suggesting that Peter Parker/Spider-Man will be facing the Green Goblin once again and tries to balance his family life and being a hero.
Many comic book and gaming fans believed that the game has some connection to "The Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows" comic story where in Peter Parker is married to Mary Jane Watson and had a daughter named Annie Parker, who like her dad has spider-like powers.
However, Insomniac Games responded to the rumored plot details of "Spider-Man" and stated that the IMDB page is like "Wikipedia" as anyone can add something into it, and gamers will here the plot of the game from developers themselves, thus hinting that the plot could be fake.
Penagos teased fans new gameplay details for "Spider-Man" soon as he tweeted a GIF of the game showcasing some Spider-Man combat.
