The latest details for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will feature NPC battles in Story Mode and its sales goal at two million.
It seems that the fourth sequel for "Marvel vs. Capcom" will likely feature NPC battles in its Story Mode similar to "Street Fighter 5." As seen in the "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's" trailer Ultron Sigma has took over Asgard and leads an army of corrupter Asgardians and Ultron sentries.

There is actually a lot more potential of this concept in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" than "Street Fighter 5." This fits along the theme of the Marvel comics where the heroes tend to have to fight battles in which the odds are against them due to being heavily outnumbered.
Considering that the sequel is a team based battle, the feeling of being overwhelmed by numbers would be a lot more interesting as players fight battles in 1v1 skirmishes in "Street Fighter 5."
While it has already been confirmed that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be a 2v2 fighter for the main mode of the game, Many gamers speculated that the sequel's story mode could have a 2v5 or 2v10 matches against minions that were weaker than normal characters, EventHubs reported.
Meanwhile, Capcom has set a sales goal for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" at two million in the company's investor presentation.
Capcom has a lot to prove with "Marvel vs Capcom Infinite" in terms of sales as "Street Fighter 5" did not meet its initial sales goals, falling well short at around 1.5 million units sold one year after its release.
This is in large part due to poor word of mouth about the game around its lack of features during its initial launch, as well as poor reviews. However, "Marvel vs Capcom Infinite" will feature a wildly popular Marvel heroes in addition to some of Capcom's most famous characters, which will quite possible make difference, PvP Line reported.
"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will have sizeable roster which includes Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Ultron, Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu, Morrigan, Megam Man X, Chris Redfield and Sigma.
The sequel will also make use of the Infinite Stones in battle and will have different effects for each fighter boosting their natural abilities.
Capcom announced that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will have Sigma as a pre-order playable character and a special collector's edition of the game containing our interlinking dioramas from TriForce of Iron Man, Chun-Li, Captain Marvel, and Mega Man X. The deluxe edition will come with a steelbook case and character costumes of Gladiator Hulk and Command Mission X. All pre-orders, regardless of edition, will receive the Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes.
"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will launch on Sept. 19 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms
