The latest details for "Injustice 2" will feature four new character skins and the mobile version of the game available for the iOS and Android.
Four new characters skins for "Injustice 2" have been leaked online and they are Jay Garrick, Vixen, Mr. Freeze and Grid, ComicBook reported. Jay Garrick is the first and original Flash from the comics before the likes of Barry Allen, Wally West and Bart Allen. Jay's look is consisten with his comic book version along with the silver kettle hat and golden wings. Players can add Jay as Barry Allen/The Flash palette swap skin.
The Vixen skin can be found in Cheetah and one of the few DC characters who recently been featured on CW Network shows like the "Arrow," "Legends of Tomorrow" and her own animated series on CW Seed. Vixen can tap to the spirits of any animal on Earth from lions, rhinos, elephants, birds even dinosaurs.
Mr. Freeze is one Batman's rogues gallery and can be unlocked by swapping Captain Cold. Mr. Freeze was first spotted in the "Injustice 2" gear system trailer.
Lastlt, Grid can be found in Cyborg's color swap skins. Grid is a computer virus that took most of Cyborgs parts in order to create a body similar to the latter. He is part of the Crime Syndicate an evil parallel version of the Justice League and was featured in the DC Comics storyline "Forever Evil."
NetherRealm Studios recently announced the pre-order skins of Power Girl, John Stewart and Reverse-Flash.
In other news, "Injustice 2" mobile version is now available for the iOS and Android systems.
Like its predecessor, Injustice 2 for mobile devices is a free download on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. There are, of course, microtransactions available, ranging in price from $3 all the way up to $100, though the bulk of them can be had for $20 or less.
"Injustice 2" will alos feature the gear system similar to the console versions, but it also has its own distinct take on fighting as compared to it. Most notably, it pits teams of three against one another. It does still have Super abilities, though, not as graphical as good as the console versions.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment stated "Injustice 2" mobile has improved combat and a Story mode, as well as some welcome changes from the first game. That includes the ability to move more freely around the stage and use jumping and crouching attacks, among other things. There is also an Operations mode where you "send characters away on missions" and a PvP Arena mode, GameSpot reported.
"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
