Recent reports have confirmed the release of NVIDIA's newest product. It stands out that the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 is finally set to come out by May 17, 2017.
Based on the new GP108 Pascal GPU, the Geforce GT 1030 will feature three Streaming Multiprocessor (SM) units for a total of 384 CUDA cores, 24 TMUs and 16 ROPs, and surprisingly, Nvidia opted for a 64-bit wide memory interface with up to 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6.0GHz, leaving the card with just 48GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The GPU will work at 1227MHz base and 1468MHz GPU Boost clocks and it will have a 35W TDP, which is way below the 75W provided by the PCIe slot and most partners will come up with low-profile PCB design with both active and passive cooling, possible due to a really low TDP, reports the same post.
In terms of pricing, the new Geforce GT 1030 and its price range vary per region. It is RMB ¥450 in China and NVIDIA has set a baseline value of US $59.99. It stands to reason that the legacy of NVIDIA remains strong and resolute.
It was made evident with its other flagship products as well. For one, all eyes have turned towards the unveiling of NVIDIA Volta's secret specs and features, that being said, there are claims coming about that the tech company is already ready for war and the GV100 GPU, Tesla V100 along with Nvidia Volta GPU's stunning specs are anticipated to dominate Square Enix creation, the "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15."
As for the claims that the specs and features of NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 is set to outpace AMD Ryzen, everything remains to be seen.
