The latest "Street Fighter 5" details will have a new cinematic story mode, online training and another classic "Street Fighter" stage added in the sequel.
It seems that new contents for "Street Fighter 5" have been leaked online courtesy of video game dataminer X-Kira. According to X-Kira, these new contents include another cinematic story, an online training mode and an extra battled in "Street Fighter 5," EventHubs reported.
While Capcom has yet to announced these possible DLCs to the public, gaming fans are quite curious and excited as to what the next chapter in the "Street Fighter 5" story could bring to the table.
It has been one year since the first DLC cinematic story "A Shadow Falls" as the plot focuses on a new threat that Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and rest of the characters will face as M.Bison's evil organization Shadaloo has unleashed the seven "Black Moons", granting Bison immense and unparalleled power as it covers the whole world into darkness.
Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li embark on a journey across the globe to stop Shadaloo's plans for world domination and will met other fighter such as Charlie Nash, Laura, Zangief, Necalli and many more. What makes the first story mode interesting is that all six DLC characters Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Juri, Urien and Balrog made their appearances and are also playable characters.
Meanwhile, the leaked DLC also revealed another classic "Street Fighter" stage coming to "Street Fighter 5."
This happens to be Vega's cage match stage called "Flamenco Tavern" and it will launch on May 30. An intereting feature about the stage is that players can actually climb the cage itself, using it as a weapon or strategic way of attacking opponents from above.
Flamenco Tavern will cost $3.99 or 70,000 fight money in "Street Fighter 5." In addition, players will also be able to once again purchase the Thailand stage, which was pulled shortly after its initial release due to “unintentional religious references” contained within the stage’s music.
The Thailand stage will return May 30 with new background music and it costs $3.99 or 70,000 in fight Money. The new DLC fighter Ed will also launch in "Street Fighter 5" at $5.99 or 100,000 fight money.
Finally, the updated for Capcom Fighters Network will also roll out this week and will include updates to "Street Fighter 5’s" rage quit penalty system, reduced loading times, matchmaking improvements, a friend management system and more. Capcom will give players 50,000 fight money if they sign into CFN between May 30 and June 13, Polygon reported.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available on the PS4 and PC platforms.
