Given that Capcom has not yet revealed that full roster of characters in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite," it is hard to tell if gaming fans will be glad to know that Capcom no longer thinking about who else may be worthy of a spot inside the game.
So far, the current roster in "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" consist of Captain America, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon/Groot, Ultron, Ryu, Chun-Li, Mega Man X, Strider Hiryu, Chris Redfield and Sigma.
It is previously reported that the Marvel characters in the sequel will not be restricted to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as characters from X-Men and Fantastic Four will likely join the roster. Other rumored characters include Dante of "Devil May Cry" and Frank West of "Dead Rising."
In other news, Capcom announced that new details for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be revealed in two video game events next month.
The first event will be this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 13-15, while the second event will be the CEO 2017 on June 16-18, EventHubs reported.
It is no suprise to the gaming fans that Capcom will showcase "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" at E3 2017 given that it is one of the biggest video game events in history, but having to showcase it on two events is something they would look forward to on June.
Not only that, gaming fans will have the chance to play "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" during those events.
The plot of the game will feature the Marvel and Capcom characters teaming-up together to stop Ultron and Sigma, now known as Ultron Sigma, in collecting the Infinity Stones and ruling both universes. "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will return to its 2vs2 gameplay and each team can carry an Infinity stone in battle.
"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will launch on Sept. 19 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
