A massive ad banner of "God of War" PS4 is spotted in Los Angeles, days prior to E3 this month. It is apparent now that the new installment to the franchise is a crown jewel at Sony's press conference this year.
The image of the ad banner for "God of War" is being installed at a skycraper in Los Angeles has been recently captured and shared via NeoGaf online as reported by PlayStation Universe. As seen in the photo, it is still unfinished and will soon complete in time for the big annual trade expo that will run from June 10 to June 15.
The publication noted that with a Marketing campaign this huge suggests that "God of War" is a crown jewel of Sony's game lineup. It is highly likely that Sony will also reveal a solid release date for the upcoming game with some gameplay trailer for fans to feast their eyes on.
It is also noted that past GOW games were traditionally released during March window. But if the recent leaked listing from a German retailer's website is anything to go by, it does say that "God of War" PS4 release date is set on January 15, 2018.
Spielegrotte further revealed that the game's Collector's Edition is sold at a hefty price of $199.99 in German dollars. There are no images of the product bundle seen with the listing, however, it seemingly contains tons of exciting stuff.
It will reportedly come with a nine-inch figure of both Kratos and his son Atreus that players can display as added attractions on their gaming shelves. The Collector's Edition for "God of War" will also feature other must-have items.
The pack will include two carved sons toys figurines, steelbook case, exclusive lithograph print, cloth game world map, digital soundtrack. There will also be an exclusive dynamic theme plus a shield pack of three in-game shields.
Sony's Press Conference is set on June 12. "God of War" will join other PS4 major games such as "The Last of Us 2", "Days Gone", "Spider-man" PS4 that might also be showcased at the big event in a few more days.
