New updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature the Regalia getting an off-road upgrade and Episode Prompto to launch by the end of the month.

"Final Fantasy XV" game design manager Kenichi Shida announced several new updates for the sequel during the "Final Fantasy" 30th Anniversary event.

First of these is the announcement that Episode Prompto will launch in "Final Fantasy XV" by the end of the month and will feature a new theme music composed by "Final Fantasy XI" composer Naoshi Mizuta. Shida added that more information about the episode will be revealed during the E3 2017 event happening this week, DualShockers reported.

Episode Prompto in "Final Fantasy XV" will take place somewhere in Niflheim and explore Prompto's backstory, where he was a guinea pig of the Empire, but managed to escape their facility before the events of the main game.

A teaser for Episode Prompto was featured in the end of Episode Gladiolus as Prompto is in a snowy field holding his gun preparing to shoot somebody. Prompto has a hard time pulling the trigger, but fires the gun with full conviction. The trailer ends with a release date of "6/2017" in "Final Fantasy XV."

The teaser trailer does not reveal who the wounded man is, but judging by Prompto’s reaction, he appears to be someone close to him. Prompto's hesitation in the trailer hints a close connection between the two and gamers will eventually know this when the DLC episode comes out sometime this month.

Meanwhile, Square Enix second update for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a new upgrade for the Regalia called "Regalia Type-D."

This new upgrade will allow players to drive the Regalia off-road and will have the ability of jump, IGN reported. A unique and interesing take in "Final Fantasy XV" since players are used to driving the car on the road, perhaps this upgrade is part of the many updates in Square Enix's survey.

DLC producer Haruyoshi Sawatari stated in an interview that the new DLC in "Final Fantasy XV" is a way giving back to the gaming fans who have played and supported the sequel, so if they were to continue the DLC, they would probably see what their feedback is on the content.

The "Final Fantasy XV" survey include several options for possible storylines such as Ardyn Izunia's past, Luna's activities, Cor's activities, the line of Lucis, Ifrit's betrayal, the World in Ruins and Noctis's disappearance.

The survey also asked gaming fans if they want Cor, Aranea, Iris, Luna and Gentiana as playable characters, a hard mode and upgrades on Armigar abilities and stat changing Magics,

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
