The latest update for "Injustice 2" will feature the official release date of the Red Hood DLC and the DC character getting an early Xbox One launch.
NetherRealm Studios announced the official release date of "Injustice 2's" first DLC character, Jason Todd/Red Hood on June 13, but only for players who have purchased either the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Fighter Pack 1 DLC. The Infamous Batman character will be available for everyone else to buy the following week.

"Injustice 2's" DLC fighter pack 1 will cost $20 and joining Red Hood will be fellow DC character Starfire and "Mortal Kombat" fan-favorite Sub-Zero. Players who purchased the Deluxe Edition will get all three fighters as they are released, while those who purchased the $100 Ultimate Edition will receive all nine of the planned DLC characters, GameSpot reported.
There are also reports that Red Hood could launch early in the Xbox One version as someone from YouTube posted a gameplay video showcasing him playing the character early on in the console.
Although the video was removed, players who are able to watch Red Hood in action, will be more excited how he will perform well against other DC characters in the "Injustice 2" roster, ComicBook reported.
Previous reports revealed that NetherRealm Studios will launch a patch update for "Injustice 2" that will increase the price of Bronze and Silver Mother Boxes. Bronze Mother Boxes now cost 5000 credits and Silver Mother Boxes, 10000 credits. NetherRealm Studios might have increased the prices to remove an indirect exploit to the Mother Box purchase system.
The patch will also have in-game tweaks for "Injustice 2" in terms of system issues and gameplay mechanics. Multiverse and Player Ghost A.I. are improved and will now use special power-ups, if available in Multiverse fights. Potentially, players will not be able to exploit the A.I. by just using a generic jump-in or cross-up attack to start their combos.
Character move bug fixes for Black Adam, Bane, Brainiac, Cyborg, Darkseid, Deadshot, Flash, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Wonder Woman are also implemented in the patch. However, the changes in this build affect the character’s competitive mode version.
There are also leaked silhouettes of the eight remaining DLC fighters and fans speculated that characters like Azrael, the Enchantress, Watchmen member Rorschach, John Constantine and Spawn will be added to the roster soon.
"Injustice 2" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
