A new teaser from OnePlus confirms that dual rear cameras is arriving on its upcoming flagship phone. The OnePlus 5 is slated to launch on June 20 with a pricing of $479.
The image that surfaced in the previous week on the official Twitter account of the company confirms that OnePlus 5 will have a dual rear camera module. In the recent past, there have been rumors that suggested the phone would coming with dual rear cameras. The rumors have come true. In June 2016, the China-based company released the OnePlus 3. Later, in November it launched the OnePlus 3T. However, the OnePlus is skipping the number four for it upcoming phone as it is launching its next flagship as OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is rumored to come equipped with Snapdragon 835 chipset and it would be RAM variants like 6 GB and 8 GB and storage models like 64 GB and 128 GB. The phone is likely would be loaded with Android Nougat with OxygenOS on top of it.
The dual camera system will include 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel sensors. It is rumored to come with 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It will be driven by 3,300mAh battery that will be couple with fast charging feature that will charge the battery from zero to 92 percent in one hour.Fresh information suggests that it would be launching with a price tag of $479, Techno Blog reported.
OnePlus has released the Android 7.1.1 Nougat updates for its earlier models of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T and these models are also confirmed to receive Android O. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that it won't be releasing Nougat update for OnePlus 2. However, in the previous year OnePlus had confirmed that Android N would be coming to OnePlus 2.
