Game creator Hideo Kojima will appear at the annual trade expo today, June 14 despite that the PS4 exclusive "Death Stranding" is skipping Sony's E3 2017 briefing. Geoff Keighley has also teased fans that there might be a surprise from Kojima himself.
According to Keighley, inspite of the fact that "Death Stranding" will not get a gameplay trailer at this year's gaming convention, Kojima will be there today, June 14. In some way, the game is still present at the trade show.
"I am expecting a Hideo Kojima surprise. He always loves to surprise us. I think he's just here to talk about his [movie] influences. I don't think we are going to get a new trailer or anything but who knows," Keighley said in a live video he posted on Twitter.
Fans can cross their fingers for a possibility of the "surprise" that the guy is talking about. It is noted that in the past, Kojima had done something unconventional especially at E3, so the idea is not far-fetched at all.
Prior to the opening of E3 2017 on Monday, Kojima already informed his loyal fans that "Death Stranding" will not be joining other major PS4 games at Sony's E3 2017 presser this year. Amid the bad news, the game producer emphasized that his team is fully focused on the development of the upcoming open world adventured game.
In addition to that, he dropped yet another cryptic teaser image with a caption, "Bridges", and what this could mean to the game is anybody's guess, however. There is not much known about "Death Stranding" since the time it was announced.
It was at E3 2016 when fans saw the reveal trailer for "Death Stranding", with just snippets of information available from time to time. It is seemingly plausible that Kojima will have something for the fans later today at the big event, so fans shoulc watch out for it.
