(Photo : Facebook) It is the world's 4th[4] largest smartphone maker. Xiaomi designs, develops, and sells smartphones, mobile apps, and related consumer electronics.

Xiaomi Mi5 release will highlight the device's camera features. Together with the Mobile World Congress 2016 event, which is set to kick-off in Feb. 22, Xiaomi Mi5 will hit the market 2 days later, Feb. 24.

Xiaomi Inc. vice president Hugo Barra posted a photo on Facebook during his holiday vacation. The image had a caption, "Spent the holidays hanging out with my folks....aaaaand playing around with the insanely AMAZING ‪#‎Mi5 camera. I didn't even have to fiddle with manual settings or adjust anything-except turn on HDR-this is a pure SOOC shot. I've cropped and zoomed in on the original, too, just so you can see the incredible details up close."

Barra's picture was in high-definition, showing off vivid colors and clear images. Numerous Facebook friends commented that the picture was as if it was taken by a DSLR camera. To inform the public, he decided to share his image's details. The company's vice president posted an MIUI forum link, which led to the full list of specifications of the captured photo's resolution.

The Xiaomi Mi5 mobile gadget is showcasing its 16 megapixel rear camera, which has a 4608 x 3458 resolution. Its camera also has two LED flashes and F/1.6 super bright lens. The front camera, on the other hand, is capable of producing 8MP images.

Reportedly, Xiaomi Mi5 will also bring in Quad 5.2 inches HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, as well as RAM of 3 Gigabyte and 4 Gigabyte. The internal memory is available in either 16GB or 64GB.

NFC will be present, CNET reported. Right after the Xiaomi Mi3 release, the company decided to get rid of the NFC feature. However, because of the recent pay feature of Google, rumors are saying that it will make a comeback. IR remote is also rumored to be included in the device's package; compatible with more than 10 product categories, which is approximately 2000 items.

Xiaomi Mi5 is also said to have USB Type C and 3.0 quick charge features, and non-removable 3, 600 mAh battery, while its home button is also said to be fingerprint reading capable. There is still no information about the handset's operating system, but experts are positive that it will have Android 6.0 Marshmallow alongside MIUI's latest version.
