Lara Croft will likely return in "Shadow Of The Tomb Raider", the rumored follow-up to 2015's "Riser Of The Tomb Raider" from game developer Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, if the latest leak is anything to go by. Despite that it's yet a no-show at E3 2017, new round of fresh leaks have apparently spilled its secrets.
Square Enix was notably silent at E3 and it did not have much to showcase at the annual trade expo other than the major prequel title, 'Life is Strange: Before The Storm". Despite this, it does not stop the new leaks to make the rounds online surrounding the release of a new Tomb Raider game.
Speculations and rumors about "Shadow Of The Tomb Raider" initially sprung in 2016 from a game aficionado who sneakily saw something on a marketing guy's laptop. Now, concept images have been leaked, showing some pyramids that further hint a possible Egyptian setting for the next title in the series.
Skeptics might say it could be fake, however, the leaked concept art indicates the game's alleged name. In addition to that, it also appeared for a bit of time on website of TakeOff, a creative agency that creates trailers, websites, animations and more for video game companies such as Square Enix.
Although the images are no longer existent since these were removed from the net, fans were able to save posted the copies on NeoGAF. A number of the images depict pyramids but the art lacks detail that it is difficult to determine if these pyramids are that of Egypt, South America or a different place.
However, "Shadow Of The Tomb Raider" remains unconfirmed at this time. So, it is best to take it with a grain of salt until Square Enix makes the official announcement regarding this rumored Tomb Raider game.
