Sony Xperia C6 is most likely to be announced at Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona.
Sony will be an active participant at the MWC event 2016. The tech giant is expected to announce an array of new devices at this event, according to Ubergizmo. It is also expected that a new flagship may be unveiled at the prestigious event.
There are a number of rumors that Sony may instead decide to launch the Xperia Z6 at this event instead of the Xperia C6. Though the possibility of such an occurence is rare, as Xperia Z6 is most likely to be instead launched at the IFA in Sept. Sony had launched the Xperia Z5 also at the IFA 2015, so it is a strong possibility that they will continue the tradition.
According to a recent tweet, a leaked image shows a rendering of the much anticipated Sony Xperia C6. These renders that are entirely based on the factory schematics, and they are not the official renders of the device.
Sony Xperia C6 is expected to be a low-mid range device at the best. It is also rumored to sport a possible 5-inch display, along with being full HD screen resolution. The device is rumored to be powered with a Media Tek Helo P10 chip set along with an octa core processor, according to Tech Times.
Additionally, based on the render, it seems that at least three different color variants can be expected for this device, which is gold, silver and gray. It also looks like the color of the device will be purely matte, which is very similar to the Sony Xperia Z5.
On the back of the device, a camera can be seen, however the megapixels are not specified. A flash can also be seen on the back of the device. There also appears to be the absence of a laser auto focus on the Xperia C6.
The official price of the device is yet to be disclosed. Regarding the operating system, it is expected to be powered with the latest Android Marshmallow out of the box.
