Apple March 21 Event Will Live Streamed On Apple Devices And Windows PCs

The invitation for Apple’s event on March 21 has been sent out and it can be streamed online via the company’s Apple's HTTP Live Streaming technology.

The event video will be streamed live on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 7.0 and up, 9to5Mac reported. People with second-, third- and fourth-generation Apple TV set-top boxes will also be able to witness the event and a special Apple Events app generally appears a day or before the date of event. For those using Mac, they must have Safari 6.0.5 and up on OS X 10.8.5 or later, and PC users should have the Microsoft Edge browser in Windows 10. 

Invitations for the said event came with a tagline “Let us loop you in.” The event will start on Monday at 10 a.m. Pacific, or 1 p.m. Eastern. It will be held at the company’s corporate headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino. Apple CEO Tim Cook that it may be the last time that the company’s event will be held at Apple's current headquarters because a 1,000-seat theater at Apple's upcoming Campus 2 is anticipated to complete in 2017 in time for the company’s shareholder meeting.

On March 21, Apple is expected to announce the new devices for 2016 including the the 4-inch iPhone SE, according to App Advice. It is the company’s smaller version of smartphones and it is also considered as the first handset without a number on its name since 2007. It is likely that the smaller iPhone will have an A9 chip and M9 co-processor. iPhone SE may also include Siri and Live Photos, along with the Apple Pay capabilities. Interested buyers can choose from 16- and 64GB models in space gray, silver, gold, and rose. 

In addition, iPad Air 3 will also be announced. It is expected that the tablet will be thinner compared to iPad Air 2. Rumors suggest that it is crafted in aluminium to make it even stronger than the current model and there will be a gold version. iPad Air 3 may have an A9X chip, iPad Pro-like stereo speakers, and other upgraded internal specs.

Moreover, it is likely that Apple will announce the public release of iOS 9.3 as well as the arrival of new sports band options for the Apple Watch. It may include black version of Milanese Loop, NATO-style nylon strap, and Hermes band.
