Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge specs and release date have been leaked.
According to leaks, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will pack a microSD slot. The Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch screen, while Galaxy S7 edge will feature a bigger 5.5-inch screen.
Also, the Galaxy S7 will have a 3,000 mAh battery and the Galaxy S7 edge will have a 3,600 mAh battery, according to Tech Times. To compare, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy S6 featured 3000mAh and 2550mAh batteries.
It is expected that the Galaxy S7 will feature a 12-megapixel shooter with f/1.7 lens, whereas the Galaxy S7 edge will sport same camera specification. Unfortunately, there is no information on the front camera.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7 have been listed boasting 4 GB RAM. According to rumors, the two devices will be powered by Exynos 8 octa-core or Snapdragon 820 processor. Various reports also suggest that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge may come with 2.3GHz quad-core + 1.6GHz quad-core.
Rumors are doing the rounds that the 21 GB Samsung Galaxy S7 model will have $755 price tag and the 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will be priced at $863. Reports suggest that the 64 GB variants may cost $86 more than the 32 GB variants' price tags.
Rumor has it that smartphones could be revealed in February and are scheduled to go on sale within the same month, Know Your Mobile reported.
Barcelona's Mobile World Congress runs from February 22 to February 25. The past two iterations of the company's Galaxy flagship were both announced at MWC. However, a report has said the release will happen on 19 January.
Spigen, a well-known case maker, has disclosed several protective cases designed for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Plus and Galaxy S7.
At present, Galaxy S7 Spigen cases can be viewed on Amazon, and people can even order them, for prices beginning at $14.99. However, they will not begin shipping before April 1.
This is not the first time when the accessory maker shows off cases for unannounced devices. In 2015, Spigen revealed cases for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 before the tech giant officially presented them, showing devices that resembled the final products.
