Samsung has started 2016 with its Notebook 9, an ultraportable Windows 10 operated machine with a larger screen. The company is continuing its trend of bringing laptops with big screens in smaller packages.

Samsung's changing the game as they have added two new laptops to the Notebook 9 series. During the press conference in Jan. 5, Tuesday, the upcoming laptops are said to have a slim Magnesium chassis and USB Type-C ports. The laptops will be ultra-light for easier handling. Reportedly, this will be the Apple MacBook Air's greatest competitor, especially in the area of light device production.

The highlight of these new Samsung laptops, as the company announced, is that it will be a slim 15-inch Notebook 9 with a wide screen that is about 14-inch worth of display, PCWorld reported. It will mainly target those that are looking for a larger screen in lighter devices.

With an overall overview of the new generation laptops, these are still the usual portable computers. It is said that these devices will be available in the market by early 2016. It will be available in variants of either 4GB or 8GB RAM and either a 128GB or 256GB SSD.

Samsung Notebook 9 is good news for Microsoft since these devices will be sporting Windows 10. This will also help consumers and business see the operating system's capabilities, helping them decide on upgrading all others to Windows 10.

Samsung also announced that their Galaxy TabPro S will also be featuring Windows 10 built with better features. It is Galaxy tablet series' best yet, GSM Arena reported.

The upcoming tablet will have longer battery power with full-sized touchpad and keyboard to emphasize better productivity. Although reportedly, its multi-port adapter is not one of its most remarkable features, its HDMI and USB ports on 6.33mm thin device are two of the almost impossible inclusions.

Like its predecessors, it also has AMOLED screen that boasts true color manifestation. It is fast charging, but its processor Intel Core M does not seem to level the swift running capacity.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S highlights display qualities, ergonomics, and multi-functionality in a notch higher than those that came before it.
