It has been a wild ride for the gaming community all throughout 2015. It became even wilder when the nominees for the year's Game Developers Choice Awards were revealed. Headlining the list are two of the most critically acclaimed titles to hit the shelves in 2015; "The Witcher 3" and "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain."
A handful of well-known games also received multiple nominations from the awards giving body. Among these are "Splatoon," "Bloodborne" and "Fallout 4."
Five titles are vying for the Game of the Year award. These are; "Fallout 4" from Bethesda Game Studios, "The Witcher 3" from CD Projekt RED, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" from Kojima Productions, "Rocket League" from Psyonix and "Bloodborne" from FromSoftware.
"Fallout 4" received multiple nominations. Among these are Best Design and Best Techonology.
"Splatoon" received nod for Best Innovation and Best Visual Art.
"Bloodborne" received nominations for Best Design and Best Visual Art.
"Star Wars Battlefront," albeit not nominated for Game of the Year, received nominations for Best Audio, Best Visual Art and Best Technology, according to Gamespot.

According to VG24/7, winners of the 2015 Game Developers Choice Awards will be announced on March 16.
Among the lost list of titles vying for the Game of the Year title, "The Witcher 3," "Fallout 4" and "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" are the leading favorites. Each titles are part of a bigger franchise which have been both critically and commercially successful in the pat.
