The frequent launch of new and interesting gadgets these days makes it important to compare them before buying. The cameras of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and the recently launched Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus are here for their camera performance comparison.

After its launch, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 attracted customers with its impressive features. The camera gave good imaging performance like Xiaomi's smartphones, yet a slight refinement in its performance was required. The Redmi Note 3's camera is 16MP powered by Samsung S5K3P3 ISOCELL sensor, while the latest Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a 13MP CMOS BSI sensor and costs less than the Redmi Note 3. Yet, the Redmi Note 3's camera is comparatively better than the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus due to ease of use and overall design.

Users are able to shoot with one hand with the help of its touch shutter feature on focus point. So when it comes to shutter response, Redmi Note 3 is faster and precise, while Lenovo has a conventional layout in its camera settings.

Daylight performance - during the day, under direct sunlight, shadow and close-up under sunlight, the images taken with both the cameras differ in image sharpness. The Redmi Note 3 images are sharper and have richer color saturation and contrast levels when compared to Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus images.

Indoor performance - while shooting indoors, Redmi Note 3 gives sharp and warmer color images when compared to Lenovo. Still, Lenovo manages to give softer ambience to pictures while Redmi Note 3 produces jarring effect.

Low light - in low light, cameras of both the devices fail to give great images, with Vibe K5 Plus performing poorer than Redmi Note 3.

Finally, even with lesser cost, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus camera fails to give really good pictures, so Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 wins here.
