New rumors indicate that the upcoming Samsung phablet, the Galaxy Note 6 will be arriving with an Edge screen and a 4000 mAh battery.

Samsung is now rumored to be testing two models of Galaxy Note 6 phablet. Even though it is working on two variants, it is expected to release only variant in the market. The two variants are said to include similar specs but differ in the display department.

One of the Galaxy Note 6 prototypes is said to feature a regular flat screen of 5.8 inches that supports Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The other model is said to include a dual-edge curved display of 5.8 inches. It also supports Quad HD resolution. As mentioned above, Samsung may either a flat screen model of Note 6 to replace the Galaxy Note 5 from 2015 or it may release the phablet with dual-edge curved screen like the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy S6 Edge.

In 2014, Samsung had released Galaxy Note Edge that feature curved display on its right edge that gave it an asymmetrical appeal. Hence, the South Korean tech giant is unlikely to release the Galaxy Note 6 with a single edge curved screen, Phone Arena reported.

It is also rumored that the Galaxy Note 6 will be packed with a huge battery of 4000 mAh. The Galaxy Note 5 features a 3000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Note 6 smartphones is expected to be available in two CPU flavors, one featuring Snapdragon 823 (an overlocked version of Snapdragon 820) and the other one featuring an upgraded variant of Exynos 8890. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones that were announced in February are available in two CPU models of SD 820 and Exynos 8890 that are aimed towards different markets of the world.

Both the CPU variants of Galaxy Note 6 will be supported by 6 GB of RAM. It is expected to arrive three internal storage editions such as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 models do not feature a microSD slot. Samsung brought back the microSD card support on Galaxy S7 and S7 models. Hence, the Galaxy Note 6 is heavily pegged to carry support for microSD card. It is expected to arrive preinstalled with Android N OS, GSM Arena reported.
