Here is the latest status on the Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Note 5, Note 4, Note Edge and Galaxy S5
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge
All the leading carriers of the U.S. namely AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Spring and US Cellular have released Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users. The update brings the latest version of the TouchWiz UI. Also, it also brings new Android features like Doze mode that improves the stand-by battery performance, and Google Now on TAP that shows contextual search results depending on what's displayed on the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+
All the major U.S. carriers have rolled out Android 6.0 Marshmallow software update for Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Since the update is being released in phases, it more days for the update to reach all the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ users, Gotta Be Mobile reported.
Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge
Sprint has rolled out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to its Note 4 and Note Edge users. US Cellular is the other carriers from the U.S. that has released the Android 6.0.1 update for both the smartphones
The users of the international edition of Galaxy Note 4 that carries a model number of SM-N910C is also receiving the software update. Sprint's Android 6.0.1 update for Note Edge also includes security patches. It is rolling out the update in phases. Hence, all the Note Edge users on Sprint are expected to receive the upgrade by May 2, GSM Arena reported.
Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 Sport
In the previous month, the Korean edition of the Galaxy S5 was updated to Android 6.0.1 and now the firmware upgrade has arrived to SM-G900F, the most widely used edition of the handset. The Galaxy S5 Sport is the ruggedized iteration of Galaxy S5. Sprint has also released Android 6.0.1 upgrade for Galaxy S5 Sport users.
AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon are yet to release Android M update for its Galaxy Note 4, Note Edge and S5 users. These smartphones are expected to receive the latest Android build in the near future.
