New "Batman: Arkham Knight" details will feature a new Batman skin, a Challenge Pack 6 and the official launch date for the January DLC.
Warner Bros. Interactive announced that the latest DLC for "Batman: Arkham Knight" will launch on Jan.19 for the PC platform and Jan. 26 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The latest DLC will feature the new Challenge Pack 6 for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as several Predator and Combat maps will based on two previous titles; "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkhham City".
These maps include Wayne Manor, the Batcave and Sanatorium, Medical Facility for the Predator challenges, while the Iceberg Lounge, Crime Alley and the Monarch Theatre will be featured in the Combat challenges, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Aside from its official launch date, the January DLC will feature a new AR challenge called "Endless Knight" and the new "Batman Incorporated" skin in the comics. Warner Bros. stated that the new DLC skin will be downloaded for free similar to the "Batman V Superman" and "The Dark Knight Trilogy" skins last year. Gamers can also access the "Batman Incorporated" skin by the use of a special code included in the first issue of "Batman: Arkham Knight" comic book.
Fans from the forums are also wondering if Rocksteady and Warner Bros. could release other Batman skins that were previously exclusive to certain promos such as the "Earth 2 Batman", "Justice League 300" and "Batman 66".
There are also the leaked achievement list for the January DLC and these are "The Curtain Falls", "Requiem for a Killer", "The Chill in the Air", "What the Butler Saw", "Secrets of the Batcave", "Silent Night, Deadly Night" and "Eternal". Each achievement could be unlocked by following specific tasked in the AR Challenges in the latest DLC, International Business Times reported.
Warner Bros. previously launched the "Season of Infamy" DLC last month which featured four additional missions for "Gotham's Most Wanted". Batman will be facing returning villains such as Ra's Al Ghul, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter and Mister Freeze, as well as new Batmobile skins, challenge packs etc. It speculated the January DLC will be the last DLC update for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as Rocksteady Studios will be venturing on another DC character video game, but Warner Bros. stated that there will be more Batman based games soon.
"Batman: Arkham Knight is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and the PC platform.
