The Galaxy S8 is Samsung's latest upcoming smartphone, and it would likely have all the right components. Samsung is currently in a tight position as it aims to rebound after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
Following the worldwide public relations nightmare, the South Korean tech giant needs to regain the trust of its customers and partners. The best way to do this is apparently to release a device that outperforms the Galaxy Note 7 and does not have any technical problems.

Samsung will launch two Galaxy S8 models: one with 2K 5.7-inch display and another with a 6.2-inch 4K screen called Galaxy S8 Plus. Both devices are expected to sport curved Super AMOLED displays without any branding on the edge. The devices are expected to have a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 with a pixel density of 806 pixels per inch (ppi).
Samsung recently acquired Viv Labs, which is being operated by Siri's co-creator. Therefore, the Galaxy S8 is expected to feature an intelligent AI assistant called Viv. The smartphone may also come with a touch-based power button and wireless charging technology. The Galaxy S8 is expected to use the 10nm chips with virtual reality technology which involves advanced 3D structure with improvements in design and process technology that are much higher than the 14nm process.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with a 27 percent performance increase and 40 percent power consumption decrease. It is likely to feature the Exynos 8895 with ARM's new Mali-G71 for its GPU. The device will sport a dual camera set-up on the Galaxy S8 Plus rear and could come with the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor. The smartphone will boast of increased RAM for improved virtual reality support.
