The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphone has received Bluetooth v4.2 certification.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) with the model number SM-A720F has surfaced on the import listing with the support of Bluetooth v4.2. It will sport 16-megapixel camera on the rear as well as on the front side. It is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) launched last December.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a 5.7-inch full high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, making it slightly larger than the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016). Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7880 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.87 GHz and coupled with Mali-T830 GPU on top.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the TouchWiz user interface laid on top. It is expected to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update within a month or two after its launch.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory that is expandable. It is equipped with an IP68 certification, making it highly dust and water resistant - similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) features16-megapixel cameras on both front and rear but are limited to just full high-definition video recording with f/1.9 aperture. It also supports NFC with fingerprint scanner compatible with Samsung Pay.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) are likely to have a glass and metal design language with optical image stabilization like its predecessor. It supports 4G network option. Other basic connectivity options are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) measures 157.69 x 76.92 x 7.8 mm in dimensions, making it bulkier compared to its predecessor which measured 151.5 x 74.1 x 7.3 mm. It could be packed with a bigger 3600 mAh battery. It is expected to be unveiled sometime in December.
