Smartphone accessories maker Incipio has launched an iPhone case that locks the home button to prevent children from misusing its Touch ID. Built specifically for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the Kiddy Lock Case features a sliding cover and a latch that keeps children from accessing applications they are not supposed to, for instance accidentally calling contacts or making unauthorized payments. The case is priced at $40.

Incipio unveiled the Kiddy Lock Case at the international event CES 2017. An ultra-protective and versatile case with an integrated home button lock cover system for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the case is on display at CES 2017, LVCC Booth #8619 from 5th to 8th January.
The Child-Lock Cover Case was designed with next-level protective functionality in mind. It is constructed with a tough, shock-absorbing rugged drop-diffusion material to protect the iPhone from accidental drops and daily wear and tear.
Carlos Del Toro, director of Products at Incipio, said that children these days seem to find adults' personal devices more appealing than their toys. Inspired by the customers, the design of the Versatile Home Button Lock Case provides caregivers and parents a "piece-of-mind knowing they're still in control of their personal device, even when in the hands of children."
