LG is ahead of the curve when it comes to the Android Marshmallow update rollout.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be rolling out to LG devices in multiple regions and even in United States carriers.
Google’s Marshmallow will be available to LG G4, G3, G4 Stylo, G Flex 2, V10 for subscribers like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and T-Mobile. LG was the first manufacturer to release an update after Google unveiled Android 6.0.

The Android M software first update happened in Oct. 5 and the first non-Nexus device to receive an update was the LG G4 just three weeks later. It arrived in Sprint and U.S. Cellular in the United States, and now Canada along with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile along the pipeline.
LG began integrating Marshmallow into its G4s as early as October last year, but discontinued the move after facing technical difficulties. The integration of Marshmallow into LG G4 has resumed on Dec. 30, 2015. With Marshmallow in G4 rolling, LG is on the move to integrate the operating system with its G3 line of phones and other series beginning on March 14, according to Gotta Be Mobile.
Owners of LG G4 on AT&T, Verizon and more are still waiting, but a recent update from Canadian carrier TELUS could be ready to offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow roadmap for a slew of devices, and added release dates for the LG G3 and LG G4. Owners of LG G4 can receive the update on Feb. 1, and mid-March for the older LG G3, Neurogadget reported.
Other LG devices that are planned to receive the update include the LG G4 Stylo, the LG G Flex 2, and the LG V10, as well as some tablets. LG was very quick to say that its users would be one of the first to have it.
However, there was a problem with the initial rollout in Poland, but LG corrected that and were able to get Marshmallow to Polish users by New Year's Day.
The South Korean tech giant is ahead of the curve when it comes to the Marshmallow rollout, and other subscribers can look forward to receiving the upgrade probably within the month, and are encouraged to check their Settings on their Android phone regularly to see if the Over-the-air (OTA) update is available even now. Users who have LG G3 or other type of LG smart device should also check their Setting menu as well.
